Aussie Emoji Keyboard App For Androids By Oppo

OPPO Mobile Australia, a mobile phone company registered in Sydney Stock Exchange has introduced Aussie Emoji Keyboard reflecting the spirit of Aussie culture in emoji form. The recently introduuced keyboard features more than 40 Australian-themed emojis including Vegemite, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Uluru and other common Australian phrases.
Emoji is a sort of small digital image or icon used to express an idea or emotion in electronic communication. Oppo’s emoji app can be downloaded from Google Play Store for free. However, the mobile phone company has initially released android version of the app only.
The word ‘emoji’ comes from Japanese language and is represented through pictures while ‘moji’ denotes certain character. After inclusion in Apple’s iPhone, emojis are becoming increasingly popular. Emoji version 10.7 has been incorporated with Apple’s OS X operating system.
Many Android and other mobile operating systems have already included emojis following Apple’s innovation. Microsoft has also inserted monochrome Unicode emoji coverage to the Segoe UI Symbol system font in Windows 8. Furthermore, it has absorbed color emoji in Windows 8.1 via the Segoe UI Emoji font.
Users require installing the app in their Android devices to send an emoji. It will be available for use in any app that allows text entry after installation. Facebook Messenger and Android's SMS messaging app are most popular among the users for insertion of texts. However, the recipient doesn’t require downloading the app to view the emojis.
Now a day, emojis have become an integral part of expressions in modern culture for the Australians. An Oppo research suggests, three out of five Aussies consider emoji as the universal language for messaging. The Australian mobile phone manufacturer has been working to incorporate more emojis in the next updates.
The first spell of emoji covers the nation's culture, wildlife and tucker. Popular Aussie icons like the Sydney Harbour Bridge, "Stone the Flamin' Crows", Shrimp on the Barbie, and Budgie Smugglers have also been added.

Users will be able to access the Oppo keyboard through tapping the emoji icon floating on the side of the screen while typing text. The OPPO emoji is expected to attract more Facebook stickers compared to the regular emoji. Facebook emojis can be sent singly through each click and Oppo released app is devoid of such shortcoming.
